WOMEN WITH DIGNITY

In August of 2023, we were invited to meet and were asked to help a group of women at Homestead Correctional Institution in Florida City, Florida who were all serving life or lengthy sentences in the Florida Department of Corrections. We accepted this responsibility and we named their group Women with Dignity. As their slogan, the Women with Dignity adopted the words of Micah 6:8 to "Act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly." Over the nearly three years since then we have worked together in several different areas, and we have seen growth in them. To give you a better picture of our program's impact on them, following this we have presented excepts from one of their recent homework assignments. Their names are not included there, but we did provide initials to attribute them for their individual points of input.
